To celebrate Kylee and Allison finishing their last exam as PhD students in the Sport Humanities, Allison took the gang out to breakfast on a snowy morning on December 5, 2007. Here are the pictures(kindly taken by Hadely Zeavin, her dog stars in one picture):

NASSS went Great!!! Jennifer Hardes won the Masters Award for her rebellious effort on the paradigmatic assumptions of sport sociologists.
The turn coat-Dr. William J. Morgan won honorable mention for his book "Why Sports Morally Matter," and was nice enough to buy dinner for Ari and Dan.
In addition, there were plenty of presentations that had big names nodding along. Dan interacted with Michael Messner and several other impressed people. These include Sam Morris, Bona Lee, Kylee Studer, Dan "fire-me" Demay, Ari de Wilde, Megan Chawansky, Melissa Wiser(Women's Studies),Dr. Sarah Fields, and Claire Williams.
